The large square and royal palace in the heart of Amsterdam. Lots of bike, tram and foot traffic and surrounded by a number of cafes. Even though the sun has broken through the clouds the last few days, low temperatures and a very strong wind have made it a bit uncomfortable for enjoying the outdoor tables.
